 ABOUT THE SUMMIT
The London Stock Exchange will be hosting the second Russia-UK Technology Summit, which will focus on some of the major initiatives now underway in Russia to promote investments in the high-tech sector. Public-private venture funds have recently been established in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Tomsk and more of these funds are planned for other Russian regions. At the summit, we will hear from some of the managers for these venture funds and learn about their plans for tech investing in Russia. This event brings together Russian and UK technology companies and looks at the issues involved in commercialising some of the innovative ideas coming out of Russia today. Attending will be a mix of companies at different stages of development and representing a number of different disciplines.
